So uneventful...

4th of July is also Andrea's birthday...
So the birthday girl got to choose what to do...
Brian made pancakes and bacon for everybody for breakfast!
(yea, he found some black market bacon!!!)
We went to the Ice Skating Rink...
YES, people ice skate in Kuwait...
they even have a hockey league!!!
It has been a LONG time since I ice skated...
but it was easy to pick back up...
it was fun, not to mention, it was nice and chilled inside the rink :-)

Then, it was lunch at The Avenues,
at Maki - a sushi place.. it was okay, not up to my standards!

Then, grocery shopping at Carrefour!!!

We were planning on going out for dinner...
but Brian were adjusting from nights to days
and Doug and I were adjusting from days to nights...
(we are all working shifts now)
so, we ordered Papa John's...
had bday cake with ice cream...
and watched "24" season 1!! Haha!

So while my dear sis and cousins are feasting and having a ball in Vegas...
I had a very uneventful 4th of July!

By the way, we checked out the website for US Embassy in Kuwait,
to see if any celebrations were going on...
we found out that the Independence Day is celebrated in February
because it's cooler!!!
