Destination: Tabasco Plant at Avery Island, LA
Did you know that Tabasco Pepper Sauce is made in Louisiana?!?
We love spicy and hot sauces, so we decided to pay this plant a visit!
It was about 1.5 hr drive from New Orleans one-way...
Well, the tour itself was kinda disappointing...
Just 15 minutes, that includes an 10-min video!!
Good thing it was free.. hah!
The sampling in the Country Store was more fun...
Jalapeno ice cream, sweet & spicy ice cream (I like!),
chilli, Tabasco soda (not good), and all kinda pepper sauces!
Overall, I didn't think it was worth the drive...
wouldn't recommend to tourists,
unless of course, if you are already in the area!
