then went to a colleague's place for dinner!
This Friday, we took a trip to the Friday Market and Carrefour!! Haha!
If you are in Kuwait, you have to check out the Friday Market!
It's one of the 10 Things To Do in Kuwait!!!
The market is a huge open area (with covers) full of all kinds of merchandise...
Household goods, fabrics, antiques, rugs, furniture, bedding goods...
There is also the Tent Market and Livestock Market!
It's like a mega flea market!
Well, it was 44C, hot like a muh...
Oven-hot breeze made it a little better,
but still, you sweat even when the humidity is less than 10%!

So, Carrefour we went.. nice, cool and indoor!!!
Just in case you didn't know, Carrefour is like a Sam's/Super Wal-Mart..
popular in Europe, Asia and South America!
Carrefour and IKEA are in the same shopping complex with The Avenues..
The Avenues is the newest mall, one section is still in construction!
Anyway, it has 7... SEVEN.. Starbucks!! Ridiculous!!!
Carrefour by far has the best selection of ice cream!!!! ummm :-)
We picked up some groceries and went home!
went to Brian and Andrea's pad, ordered pizza,
and watched 5 hours worth of "24" Season 6!!!
It's so addictive.. we didn't want to stop!!! We are pathetic!! Hah!
Too bad, we had to work the next day,
otherwise, we would've pulled an all-niter and finished the season!!
haha!! We all live in the same apartment complex...
B&A has Wii and XBox and lots of DVDs... it's great :-)
I suck at Guitar Hero.. haha!

there are bus stops on the highway,
this dude just missed the bus, so he chased it down...
the bus stopped on the highway and picked him up!!
It's not unusual to see vehicles stop in the middle of the road...
to get food, say hi to people in another car driving the opposite direction,
to reverse cuz they missed a road or exit..
It's quite humorous!!!
