this weekend was the French Quarter Festival...
the next 2 weekends are the world famous Jazz Festival...
One of our friends and co-worker, Brian, was in town for our meetings...
and stayed the weekend...
hum... so conveniently scheduled.. hehee :-)
We kicked off the weekend with a crawfish boil
with some co-workers and friends Friday evening...
Andrea drove a long ways from Lake Jackson, TX..
woohoo... Kuwait roomies reunion!
Then, spent all day Saturday down at the Quarter...
it was a cloudy, windy day...
we parked at my place and walked everywhere...
if it was sunny, it would have been too hot!
There were 17 music stages setup throughout the Quarter,
big crowds all over... food, booze, free music... very nice :-)
Big crowd at one of the main stages at Woldenberg Park!
Brian & Andrea's first hand grenades!
They had hurricanes earlier.. hehee.. they don't know what they are in for!
Open container/drink and NOPD... no worries... it's legal!!
Only in NOLA :-D
Boys actin' silly! We sure did make our way around town...
We walked all over the French Quarter,
from River Front, to French Market, the Mint,
to Bourbon Street, Royal Street, Jackson Square,
then drink-hopped from Coyote Ugly to Harrah's
(where Andrea won $120 playing penny slot while waiting for the free drink.. haha)
then to Lucy's and then Bridge Lounge...
Vicky & Andrea & the shark from Lucy's....
We ended up at Juan's Flying Burritos to get our grub on...
'em burritos tasted awfully good!!
We had a fantabulous time!!
Got our eat on, drink on and walk on!
